Swimming

Pupils from the Lower, Middle and the Upper School attend swimming lessons as part of the PE curriculum.

As part of the compulsory PE curriculum at KS2, the pupils take part in swimming; this takes place at Granard School and Latchmere Leisure Centre.  The pupils travel there by mini bus.  The aim of the sessions is to help the children build their water confidence and to encourage them to learn to swim.

On a rota basis, many of the KS3/4 students at the Upper School get the opportunity to swim at The Putney Leisure Centre.  The pupils travel to the pool by mini bus and enjoy building on the skills they have developed in KS2.
