Year 7 Top Up Funding

What is Year 7 literacy and numeracy catch-up funding?

The literacy and numeracy catch-up premium provides schools with additional monies for each year 7 pupil who did not achieve at least expected year group expectations in reading and/or maths at the end of key stage 2. It is provided to all state-funded schools with a year 7 cohort, including special schools, alternative provision (AP) settings and pupil referral units (PRUs).

Online reporting

As a school we must publish details of how we spend the literacy and numeracy catch-up funding and the effect this has had on the attainment of the pupils who attract the funding on our website.
