The students continue to attend sessions at the Holly Lodge Education centre in Richmond park, where they work with groups of volunteers keeping the Victorian gardens in order. They plant seeds, weed, water and harvest the produce. The students learn how to use and take care of the various garden tools and work in the greenhouse.
They are introduced to animals including horses and of course follow the antics of the many wild animals such as squirrels and rabbits. In the summer there are pond dipping sessions and picnics in the park. At Christmas, a group of students always celebrate a Victorian Christmas. They dress up in traditional clothing and enjoy making traditional Christmas decorations, and Christmas Pudding.
